Angus Pillars
Born of the need to remedy the unemployment caused by the closing of the Angus Shops and to revitalize a neglected neighbourhood in Rosemont–Petite-Patrie, the Technopôle Angus project faced such important challenges at first that it could have become part of history as pure utopia. Ten years later, however, the Technopôle is thriving and has achieved significant realizations in the fields of social, economic and environmental development. These achievements would not have been possible without the contribution of a few visionary and determined individuals. We wish to thank these sixteen great persons, these “Angus Pillars”, to whom we have paid homage during the public assembly held on November 14, 2006.
